Markus Chambers will be introducing a motion on Thursday November 16th, 2023. The motion is agenda item number 10 and is titled:
Negotiating a Purchase Price for Private Land Known as Lemay Forest – view the motion here!
This is a great first step and we’d love community support.
There are two ways members of the public can participate in the committee meetings to voice their support for an agenda item:
1. Register as a delegate to attend the meeting in person or virtually
To register as a delegation for an upcoming meeting, you must complete the public registration form by noon (12 p.m.) the business day before the meeting.
2. Submit comments in writing
Anyone who wishes to submit their comments to Council or a committee of council may do so using the public submission form. All submissions must be received prior to noon (12 p.m.) the business day before the meeting.
Please take a minute to submit your comments and encourage other to do so as well. If you’re not sure what to say, echoing the reasons outlined in Mr. Chambers motion would be a great start!
